Analyze, assess, and support the requirements for units mobilizing, training, and deploying in support of Overseas Contingency Operations and Contingency Force training and readiness requirements.
Utilize law enforcement weapons expertise to conduct training in rifle, pistol, shotgun, submachine gun, non-standard weapons, and non-lethal weapons/munitions employment. Certified Range Safety Officer on several live firing ranges. Utilize vehicle dynamics and specialized protective operations driving skills to include evasive maneuvers and motorcade operations. Maintain and write risk assessments to ensure training is conducted safely. Develop and adapt lesson plans and training support materials to meet training objectives in compliance with the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) systems approach to training. Utilize special police operational expertise and knowledge of education and training principles, techniques, and practices to present instruction on the following major topics: concepts, organization, and employment of protective service personnel/units; non-standard weapons employment critical operational techniques; and specialized physical and technical skills required of protective services detail members.
Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor Trainer Course, United States Marine Corps (USMC), Fort Leonard Wood, MO (October 2008 May 2009) Instructor/Writer GS-11
Served as a subject matter expert and instructor/writer for the Non-Lethal Weapons Instructor Course, and group leader for planning and implementing non-lethal weapons operations required to maintain the non-lethal weapons training course in support of force protection. Those functions include instructing the X26 Taser, OC Spray, Crowd Control, Compressed Air Launcher (CAL/FN303), Light Technology, and Close-Range Subject Control. Served as a subject matter expert and certified Master Instructor/Writer, firearms instructor, small and large group leader for planning and implementing Protective Services and High Risk Personnel (HRP) Training operations required to maintain the military police protective service training course functions in support of force protection. Those functions include the Military Police Protective Service Training and Antiterrorism Evasive Driving Course (PSTC), and MTT for HRP training. Developed the approach to accomplish resident and mobile training related to the PSTC POI. Analyzed requirements and developed a training plan in concert with the priorities outlined in the PSTC POI, HRP Academic Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), and recommended courses of action which maximize training impact within resource constraints.

233rd MP Detachment - Fort Monroe, VA (January 2002 - June 2004) Security Specialist / Operations Officer
Performed duties as an Operations Sergeant /Personnel Security Officer for the Commanding General/installation supporting Headquarters Training and Doctrine Command. Supervised the Provost Marshals Office, advised the Provost Marshal and Garrison Command on law enforcement operations. Responsible for law enforcement and security training policies and procedures. Maintained and supervised military and security reports management system. Responsible for the daily ATFP measures on multiple installations. Provide Physical Security Training, vulnerability assessment training, Anti-Terrorism, and Counter-Terrorism training for all Security Personnel in Security Guard and Force Protection Operations in a wide variety of combat and non-combat operations and deployments. Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities in the planning, preparation, and execution of all phases of the battalion and brigade level Physical Security and Crime Prevention Program.
Conduct Physical Security Surveys and Inspections on facilities, AA&E, Key Control, equipment and operations at the Detachment in conjunction with the Law Enforcement Command at Fort Monroe, VA. Conducted entry and exit briefings to commanders before and after all inspections that highlighted weaknesses and vulnerabilities in their programs that assist them in becoming compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Produce reports, conduct research, and list deficiencies of all facilities inspected to ensure proper and accurate guidance is given to commanders so that accurate and informed decisions can be made.

Supervised and managed a Physical Security Program that involved reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring the physical security program and operations throughout installations in accordance with the DoD.
Supervised the Security Clearance Program; responsible for initiation and management of the necessary paperwork for employee security clearances.
