SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCE
** ***** ********** ******** ******* project responsibilities in the Oil and Gas industry plus a
short stint with the Federal Ministry of works & Housing (Flood and Erosion Control Division).
My experience cuts across Dredging and Swamp Location Preparation Works, Front End
Engineering, Planning, Design, and supervision of O & G Upstream / Down Stream Civil
Engineering Projects and Infrastructures, supervision of Land and Swamp Location Civil works,
Shallow Offshore Geotechnicals, Pipeline Shore Crossing, Onshore & Offshore Pipelines,
Tenders / Contract administration, including representations in arbitrations and budget defence
upto NAPIMS. I was a member of the construction team for the PH New Refinery in 1987 and
1988.
I have had comprehensive interactions with multinational construction companies both as my
employers and contractors under my supervision. Examples include, WILLBROS,
WESTMINSTER DREDGING, HAM DREDGING/VANOORD, DREDGING INTERNATIONAL, PHILLIP
HOLZTMAN, TREVI, SGEN, SPIBAT.
Present engagement (2008 to date) is with SPSL, where I am the Manager, Civil Works, leading
the Onshore team for Pipelines, Civil, Dredging and Geotechnical Engineering aspects of the
group’s project activities. Thrust has always been to ensure that clients and Employer, obtain
good value for their money expended on projects by sustained drive to save costs while
maintaining the required level of quality, safety and schedule. Employer vision has been my

1.1 2008 TO DATE; SUFFOLK PETROLEUM SERVICES LIMITED, PH
MANAGER, CIVIL AND DREDGING WORKS; Project Ceiling: $500M
• Corporately responsible for Dredging,
Pipeline shore crossing, Cofferdam Design and Construction, Onshore Civil and Pipeline
Works in the Exxon Mobil’s MIPPS project. Project Position is Onshore Installation
Manager.
• Client interface on Construction and
Contractual reviews
• Led team of client and company Engineers
to inspect subcontractors’ dredgers at Dubai and China.
• Team Leader for Civil, Dredging,
Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering.
1.2 2006/2007; EMERALD ENERGY RESOURCES LTD, LAGOS
CONSULTANT DREDGING AND CIVIL ENGINEER; Project Ceiling: $10M
Civil Engineering consultant responsible for Swamp Location Preparation.Tasks and Targets
embraced Tendering, Dredging and related civil works in EERL’s Exploration activities (OPL
229) ensuring that locations are designed, dredged, ready in good time for rig entry in
collaboration with Surveyors and Drilling Engineers.
2.3 2005/ 2007; CONOIL PRODUCING LTD, LAGOS;
CONSULTANT CIVIL & DREDGING ENGINEER; Project Ceiling: $20M
• Civil Engineering consultant responsible for Dredging, EIA and related civil works in
CONOIL’s Exploration and Field development activities (OML’s 59 and 103). Tasks and
Targets embraced ensuring that locations in the swamp are properly designed, dredged,
ready in good time for rig entry while enforcing all HSE, contractual and schedule
requirements.
• Supported the Geothechnical, Topographic and Bathymetric surveys / reviews in preparation
for pipeline hook-up and Rig moves in the Shallow offshore areas of OML 59.
3.4 1991 to 2005; ENGINEER ON CONTRACT WITH SPDC, Port Harcourt
• Focal point for dredging Tenders and contracts including, Pre-qualification,
Evaluations of call-off contracts, and award proposals / presentations to SPDC’s tender
boards and NAPIMS, Escalations and Claims Resolution.
• Project Engineer for Geotechnical investigation and Foundation Improvement by Pre-
Loading, in Tanks 24 & 25 area of Bonny Terminal (1991/92). Dredging was by Trailing
Hopper dredger.
• Project Engineer (Swamp & Land Locations Preparation), 1992/1995. Capital and
Maintenance dredging works @ more than 200 locations cutting across the Niger Delta
(Nembe, Bonny, Cawthorne Channel, Krakrama, Nun River, Ekulama, Elepa etc fields.
• Project Manager, PMS for Construction of swamp locations and dredging (1995 to
1998). This involved ensuring that engineers of diverse disciplines delivered quality jobs on
schedule.
• Focal point / coordinator, Environmental Aspects of dredging.
• Driving the EIA process for dredging related projects and ensuring implementation of
mitigating measures. Quantification, recording and reporting waste streams.

• Project Engineer for Marina Sheet Pile repair works (Lagos, 1990)
• Bar Beach sand replacement project Lagos (1990). Dredging was done with Split bottom
Trailing Hopper Dredgers.
• Bonny Shore Protection works (Rivers State, 1991).
1.6 1987 – 1990; New Port Harcourt Refinery Project
Worked for SPIBAT as Site Supervisor and QA/QC Engineer for:
Precasting and Installation aspects of underground network facilities (Open and
Closed Drains, Cable Ducts, Effluent Outfalls and Waste Water Treatment Plants)
Design Integrity Reviews and Construction of Export loading platform / jetty involving
Dredging, Piling and installation of Precast members.
Precast Yard Supervisor for precast elements of manholes including reinforcements
thereof.
Quantity calculations for progress reports and milestone payments.
Earth moving Supervisor.
