Administered a Windows domain, managed user accounts and security policies in Active
Directory, maintained a SonicWall firewall, secured data integrity through daily tape
backups, and installed raid and other mass storage devices (eSATA, iSCSI).
Reduced costs by moving services such as Apache, Tomcat, Archiva, Sharepoint, and FTP
to Debian, Ubuntu, and CentOS virtual machines on a VMWare ESXi hypervisor server.
Implemented new HP ProCurve network switches with a team of engineers, completely
replacing all our old switches and routing devices and improving the performance of our
network. Configured and maintained VLANs on new devices.
Lead Java development for the IT/Networking team. Developed software to streamline
and improve efficiency of importing music with accurate meta-data information into our
radio automation system and scripted common networking procedures.

My preferred language for development is Ruby, which I have been using extensively in school for the past 2 years. I have experience
and am proficient with Rails, Sinatra, Git, RSpec, TestUnit, Cucumber, Linux, MySQL, HTML, HAML, JavaScript,
CoffeScript, CSS, and SASS. I also have experience with Java and Android. I have a lot of experience with PHP as well, mainly
using the Magento and Drupal frameworks. Finally, I am competent, but with a little less experience, with Python and C. For
