Project:
Enhancement of RightScale's monitoring system, by adding functionality to RRDtool.
Technologies used: C, socket programing in C, asynchronous programing in C.
August 2008 - August 2009 Data Network Support Engineer at Globul Ltd. www.globul.bg
Maintained the GPRS complex, one of the company's Data Core Networks and a system for management and
control of advanced services. Completed a course in Ericsson GSN (GPRS Support Nodes).
Projects:
Hardware deployment and initial configuration of the Data Core Network.
On-site installation of the network equipment (Cisco routers - 76xx and 120xxx series and switches - 37xx
series). Performed initial configuration of the devices.
Improvement of the monitoring system to serve both the GPRS complex and the Data Core Network.
Revised the abilities of Ericsson GSN to report current state.
Technologies used: bash scripting, SNMP and ICMP based tools to acquire information for the network.
Tool for statistics gathering.
Revised the abilities of CACTI to provide raw data for statistical analysis.
Technologies used: bash and perl scripting, MySQL Database, Round Robin Database, Web Services
