Professional Experience

Technician Kelly Services - Raritan, New Jersey (2010-2012)

Produced laboratory BioVue cassette equipment in an operations/productions environment for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, Inc., a division of Johnson Johnson Corporation. Duties include:

Performing filling, sealing, labeling, packaging and inspection of BioVue cassettes

Monitoring environmental conditions within the filling room including temperature, humidity, rodac, and particle counts.

Documenting accurate and complete BioVue batch records relating to filling, labeling, packaging and inspection

Receiving certification on all phase of production, testing and maintenance procedures to insure that products are in conformance with ISO 9001 Standards, USDA, DOH, NJDEP, OSHA and other federal and state regulations.

Performing equipment setups including measurement/distribution of reagents in a sterilized environment. Sample testing is paramount to insure error-free production.

Performing hourly testing of all phases of production of cassettes and documented findings. Items that do not conform to documented standards are discarded and the appropriate management personnel are notified.

Performing emergency maintenance duties during equipment failures and when required, contact the resident mechanic or off-site vendor.

Completing batch records and reviewing component reconciliations.

Communicating any issues/problems to supervisor, team leader, technician or engineer and interact with other functional groups to resolve these issues/problems.

Performing all duties in line setup, including material and barcode verifications

Certified Quality Assurance Inspector for all BioVue products, to assure that components and finished products meet standards of approval with respect to product identity, physical attributes and packaging.

Packaging Coordinator Johnson Johnson Raritan New Jersey (1998-2009)

Responsible for operating, troubleshooting, repairing and changeover activities for several packaging line in GPSG, a division of Johnson Johnson. Duties include:

Performing all aspects of materials management including sending pick list, ordering print-mats,

material handling to and from staging, and coordinating with planning and staging. Performing

pre and post production SAP transactions associated with material movement, check-in and check-out, and goods issue.

Performing basic maintenance of equipment and minor adjustment activities.

Identifying work center improvement opportunities and feeding them into the continuous

improvement process.

Adhering to all aspects of the 5S program and ensuring that lines are organized and clean.

Training associate on line responsible for pick and pack and clearing jam procedures.

Performing batch reconciliations for all packaging components and bulk materials.

Investigating and correcting all reconciliation discrepancies.

Performing the Designated Observer function on all controlled substance work centers.
