I have a Bachelors Degree with a wealth of experience in all phases of data analysis, database design, creation, maintenance and manipulation. At present, I am the IT database administrator where I work. I've had 8 years experience with MS Access 2000 Database. My largest, most complex work, consists of an Accounts Payable, an Accounts Receivable, an Estimating Costing. a Vendor, Contacts, Proposal, check writing a totally integrated program for running a business. It consists of hundreds of queries, reports etc.. I have also worked with all the Microsoft Office programs to include Excel on a regular basis for years. My SQL skills come mostly from modifying Access's query generated SQL statements, but I feel comfortable with writing SQL from scratch. Before working with Access, I worked with the Xbase languages Dbase and Foxpro. In addition, I have a Masters in Oracle but have not had the opportunity to use it other than for coarse work . Presently, I work part time for a company where I have been employed for 11 years. The company has been seriously affected by the down turn in the economy and has cut all staff hours. Normal Duties: Manage perform all IT duties to include analyzing, purchasing and setting up all hardware software, networking, databases, office systems etc.. By databases I mean creating databases, their forms, queries and reports, every aspect necessary for the business. I was/am responsible for training staff on the use of equipment and programs, trouble shooting IT related issues as well as backing up all critical data.
