Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Manager/Supervisor

Summary

Having been in the Injection Molding industry for 40 years I am knowledgeable of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Electronics and Electrical Systems and have the ability to roll up my sleeves to train others. I have an electrical background and very familiar with the NEC. In my position at Basic Line I worked directly with the company owners and put together a 100,000 Sq. Ft. facility with 18 molding machines only using outside contractors for the heavy electrical and masonry work. I myself and 4 men installed all the equipment and had it up and running in 6 months. My goal is to find a company where my skills are needed in a pleasant work environment.

I was responsible for all building and production related equipment to keep the plant running 24 hours a day 7 days a week including fire system, alarm system. I also purchased everything to accomplish that.

Maintenance Manager

* Trained and managed five mechanics in the installation of 18 new plastic injection molding machines from 250-880 ton, towers, chiller, material handling system, silos and railcar unloading system at new site.

* Set up maintenance department, preventive maintenance program, and spare parts inventory, worked directly with all contractors and suppliers

* Design a complete back up system for production so that the maintenance department only worked 8 hours a day.

* Installed and maintain computer network, 1 server and 24 work stations with windows 2000 and windows 2000 server.
