In Need of Work (Rockford, Illinois)

Hello. I have been laid off from my job going on 3 months now. I am looking for my new adventure, I guess you could say. I'm actually in desperate need of it.

I have 7 years experience in general construction. I have done/can do roofing, drywall, tiling, painting, hardwood floor install, build decks, and anything else you can come up with. I was part of a huge project in Rockford. We took an old school, gutted it, and turned it into luxury lofts. I have done maintenance as well. I am OSHA certified. I have done residential AND commercial roofs.

Before construction, I was in the retail management business. I have 9 years experience. I would not mind one bit getting back to retail management.

When I was laid off, I was making $30/hr. I know I may not be able to start off with that amount but, I do need to stay around that amount due to having a family of 6 and the cost of bills that are due each month.
