Position Held

Served as recruiter prospected, qualified and processed over 150 applicants for enlistment into the US Army. Collaborated with high school guidance counselors to ensure success of students. Trained and supervised a 24-person security element, which safeguard the command team while doing battlefield circulation. Oversaw daily activities, resolved family and personal issues and ensured each individual will accomplish the mission in an austere environment. Managed maintenance of over $4M worth of vehicles, weapons, and equipment. Oversaw daily operations of an intelligence cell for a 450-man element while deployed overseas in Iraq. Handled processing and transferring of prisoners and gathering of information. Coordinated security of five weapons storage rooms worth over $3M each upon return from deployment, ensured compliance with Department of Defense and base regulations. Functioned as Senior Drill Sergeant, taught basic combat skills, marksmanship, military history, first aid, communication, instilled discipline, and values to over 450 new soldiers.
