Sean is a Navy veteran and fulltime student at Iowa State University. When hes not competing in

the ACM Team Programming Competition or writing the basestationtoMarsrover communications

driver for ISUs entry into the University Rover Competition, hes actively seeking a career that will

let him continue doing what he loves after he leaves school, working with FOSS software and

designing solutions to real world problems.

Between the Navy and college, Sean worked primarily contracttohire for Fliptrack.com (now

Moblyng.com), and thereafter on several independent web development contracts. His platform of choice

was the LAMPP stack.

During college, he interned with Palisade Systems Inc in Des Moines. He worked with security software

developed primarily in C, helping efforts to port more features to the Mac OSX platform.

The ACM programming contest gave him experience developing quickly under stress. His teammates

were a contest veteran who joined just prior to finals, and a computer science freshman.
