Owens Corning, a Fortune 500 company and the world leader in building materials with 20,000 employees and revenues in excess of $5B.

Area Sales Manager (2000-2012)

--Manage a $38MM+ market consisting of 29 distributors and over 200 distributor salespeople. Over the past 12 years, I have successfully integrated 3 additional Owens Corning territories as my areas of responsibility. Sales increased from $5MM to $38MM in every product category consisting of roofing, insulation and foam.

--Distributors view me as a key part of their management team in operations, finance (cost reduction/profitability), personnel, and business consultant. Developed value added services to drive customer profitability, minimizing the issue of price.

--The past 4 years have been the most difficult in the building materials industry in 75 years. In 2011, overall sales were $38MM versus a corporate targeted plan of $24.6MM. Margins dollars were over $13MM versus a targeted corporate plan of $7.7MM. Significantly exceeded plan in insulation, roofing and foam in both sales and gross margin dollars.

--By exceeding corporate goals, I`ve received numerous sales awards including: 6 Sales Builder Awards and 7 Pinnacle Awards.

--I`m results driven. However, I`m an amiable driver who interacts very well with customers and company employees.

Corporate Express Promotional Marketing, a world leader in business-to-business office products and promotional merchandise.

Regional Manager (1993-2000)

Managed a market of $20MM in sales. Targeted, sold, developed and negotiated multi-million dollar contracts with Fortune 1000 companies such as Nortel, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, AutoZone and Delta. Directed a team of on-site salespeople, account managers, merchandisers, IT, creative directors, custom order and customer care personnel to fully service integrated marketing services and products. Client contacts included upper management in marketing, advertising, sales and purchasing to sell and implement promotional merchandise programs featuring catalogs, custom order, sales promotions and performance incentive programs.

--Developed the territory from $0 to $20MM in 7 years.

--Ranked in the top 1% in the country in sales.

--Promoted from account executive to regional manager in 1994.

--Received 3 -Regional Manager of the Year- awards.

Manning Marketing, located in St. Louis. Manning Marketing designed performance, consumer and channel programs for companies such as Anheuser-Busch, Eagle Snacks, Ralston Purina, Continental Baking, Eveready Battery, Monsanto and 7UP.

President (1986-1993)

--Hired as the VP of sales and marketing and promoted to president in 1990.

--Developed a performance incentive company with $1MM in sales in 1987 to $8MM in 1993.

--Responsible and accountable for all aspects of company operations including sales, profitability, personnel, budgeting and business planning.

--The three categories of performance incentives Manning Marketing handled were:

1) Employees: safety, recognition, attendance, service awards and referral programs.

2) Consumer: brand marketing, product promotions, new product launches, point of purchase, sweepstakes and frequent purchase programs.

3) Channel: dealer loader, sales incentive programs, distributor programs.

--The company was sold in 1993 and I elected to go to work for Corporate Express.

Kingsbury Graphics, located in St. Louis. Graphics design firm. Services included developing brochures, package design, annual reports, catalogs, logo design, illustration and performance incentives. Founded Kingsbury as part of the original management team. Customers included Anheuser Busch, Ralston Purina, Brown Shoe, Monsanto, 7 UP and Mallinckrodt.

Vice-President Sales and Marketing (1980-1986)

--Promoted from Sales Manager to VP Sales and Marketing in 1982.

--After six years sales were over $4MM with $1MM in profit.
