systems. I have extensive experience in Java and web

Designed and implemented Computation Markets http://www.computationmarkets.com (not currently available).
This system allows machine resources to be bought and sold over
the Internet. Designed to allow computation to be performed by
renting time on thousands of computers distributed all over the
world. (Very extensive Java distributed systems development).

Designed and implemented a system (using CORBA and Java) for automatic monitoring of environmental data.
Lead a team of students in the design and implementation of a large
WWW-based distributed system (overview of my work on the ). The system was successful and
is scheduled for further development and deployment. Created a Java
Tutorial and presented it at the SE:EP'96
conference in New Zealand.
