Storefront On-Demand Programmer/Digital Publishing Suite designer. Responsible for creation and
maintenance of one-stop e-commerce storefronts for ordering franchise and retail print material including
menus, boxtoppers, doorhangers, posters, retail signage etc... Key role in meeting with new customers
to identify expectations and determine strategies and solutions. Responsible for converting customers
native Mac and PC artwork into variable templates. Duties also included maintaining customer contact for
site maintenance including changing campaign offers, artwork and pricing to stay current with customer
schedules. Strong database knowledge using Microsoft Excel or Access. Ability to link database info to
variable tags to produce on-demand print material and direct mail with Purl campaigns using Printshop Mail
software. Variable content specific e-mail campaigns are also created using Pageflex templates. Output devices
include Xerox CX700 and IGen4 digital presses. Used Printable Technologies Printfusion 3 software and

Dainappon Screen Sigmagraph system. Duties also included development and managing the Macintosh
desktop publishing department. Knowledge of popular pre-press software including Pagemaker, Quark,
Illustrator, Photoshop and Trapwise. Responsible for implementing and utilizing Linotronic 300 imaging
device with Rip 3 processor to output composite film output from Macintosh front-end computers. Managed
production scheduling along with customer service contact for all job specifications and deadlines.

Northcoast Color Technologies. Twinsburgh, Oh
Systems Manager. Responsible for managing production department of high-end color electronic pre-press
house. Equipment used was Dainippon Screen high-end color separation assembly system consisting of
cadograph, trapping and tint station, flatbed scanner, Sigmagraph 2800 page composition system, and a
Macintosh IIfx with a link to the color system. Capable of creating high quality electronic film assembly
from conventional paste-up art boards, or electronic files from programs such as Quark Xpress, Pagemaker,
Freehand, Illustrator or Photoshop. Performed multi-tasks including image composition, retouching,
color correction and image manipulation. Posses solid understanding of trapping, process colors, PMS
colors, varnishes, continuous-tone images, line art, and other related subjects to the pre-press industry.
Responsibilities included customer contact regarding job specifications, customer changes, and turnaround.
Managed production workflow depending on complexity and turnaround of projects. Evaluated possible

coprocessor, Macintosh SE monochrome computer and 2400 baud modem. Software included Aldus Freehand,
Deltagraph, Microphone II and Stuffit. Mainly responsible for creating information-graphics which tell a
story through illustrated charts, graphs etc...Handle deadlines for three weekly tabloid trade newspapers
reporting rubber, plastic and tire news. Ability to work with editorial staffs of all three publications regarding
new ideas, projects, updates, covers and illustrations. Design black & white and color work based on process
and Pantone color systems. Print material includes paper and color film negative separations. Responsible for
modem transfer and color film separations for Detroit office.

Word, Smartcom II, Stuffit, MacImage and Suitcase II. Responsible for steady flow of output to Linotronic
output device from clients either using disks or modem transfer.
