Research Projects:
Development of a browser extension to measure personalization on Google search by outsourcing
web searches to Skype contact list (implemented using JavaScript, Python, Chrome extension
API, WebSocket API, Skype API ), in progress.
Iolaus: Securing online content rating systems a system that leverages the underlying social
network of online content rating systems to defend against Sybil attacks and rate-buying. (im-
plemented using Python, C++, MySQL Databases ).
Measuring personalization on web search engines (utilized JavaScript, Python, PhantomJS, Se-
lenium ).
Designed and built low power embedded systems for a research team at Civil Engineering de-
partment studying progressive collapse in buildings (utilized C/C++, Embedded C ).
