Fall 1997 (Portland, Oregon)
As Graduate Practicum, analyzed attendance patterns of the Chautauqua speakers program. Conducted on-site survey in 3 locations to assess attendees' awareness of the Oregon Council for the Humanities role in making the speakers program available.
Spring and Fall 1997 (Eugene, Oregon)
Graduate Teaching assistant for AAD 252 Art and Gender.
Summer 1997 (Burlington, New Jersey)
As Graduate Internship, researched the history of local Chautuaqua programs for a proposal to the New Jersey Council for the Humanities. Assisted with props construction and materials set-up for living history performers.
1989-1995 (St. Louis, Missouri)
Began as Customer Service representative, duties included maintaining written and phone communication regarding quotes, billing, and certification of work performed. Technical training and promotions lead to work as writer of production orders and coordination with on-site inspectors for the manufacturing processes. Final two years were in the position of Technical Writer on a team that developed proprietary software for company-wide operations.

USA Dance Eugene/Springfield 2006 - present (Eugene, Oregon)
General volunteer and occasional music DJ for local chapter of a national organization, with the mission of promoting ballroom dance through monthly social dances and group dance lessons.
1999 - 2008 (Eugene, Oregon)
This non-profit theatre has repeatedly been awarded "Best live theatre" by the Eugene Weekly reader's poll. A year-round season, consisting of a mix of classics and new works, is presented in an intimate 99 seat theatre.

BIO STATEMENT
Sandra Gladney is the Associate Director at University of Oregon's Department of Academic Extension, where she is involved in program development and oversight of existing credit and non-credit programs, organizational strategic planning, supervising operations staff, and participating in various university and community relations committees. She completed her B.A. in Theatre and Communications at Central Methodist College in Fayette, Missouri, and her M.S. in Arts Management at University of Oregon. Sandra began her higher education career as a Program Coordinator in 1998 with UO Academic Extension (formerly Continuing Education).
Sandra has served the Association for Continuing Higher Education at both regional and national board levels. Her prior volunteer work includes three years as Board President at a non-profit theatre in Eugene. Sandra's current hobby is ballroom dancing of all kinds (and, yes, she has been known to fox trot or cha cha down the halls at the office).
