working directly with the co-owners and legal team to create, maintain, and optimize the company’s 5-year old online product. Website is written in PHP 5 with a robust class system, utilizes the MooTools JavaScript framework, and is backed by a MySQL database. Development is done on a separate server with proper QA testing, bug tracking integration and SVN version control. Graduate Assistant Programmer for Special Projects

Developing .NET applications for web and desktop deployment. One of which was a remote lockdown software for 3000+ student laptops. This project was eventually ported to Mac OSx. Another was a RSS feed based emergency alert system for all campus computers. Integrating applications with MsSQL 2000 and 2005 and Microsoft Active Directory. Built and maintained several VMWare development servers along with a bug management system, wiki, and Subversion repository. Currently moving to a Sharepoint server.

PHP Programmer Intern

Developed a PHP polling system that used a C back-end to handle a high load of users (~1 million hits per day).

Managed a small team of programmers to build custom MySQL stored procedures to identify and isolate abuse within an internal emergency-only purchasing system. Eventually had one-on-one conversations with key users to help reduce their need of this system.
