Instructional Designer/Training Developer

Reviewed training in the principles of combating terrorism, anti terrorism principals and training development for methods to counter terrorism. Develops training materials and establishes design criteria to develop new approaches, methods, or techniques. Performed duties as directed by the Active Component (AC) commander; filled key vacancies and deployed with the unit on order. Assisted the unit in planning, preparing, and resourcing training; ensured that training is battle-focused and in line with the guidance issued by higher headquarters.
Platoon Sergeant 2001-2004
Duties: Served as Platoon Sergeant in a multi-role Bridge Company; assigned the mission of wet and dry gap crossing in support of the war fighting divisions of III Corps; responsible for the individual training, leadership, counseling, mentoring and combat readiness of 65 personnel and over 30 tactical vehicles. Ensured the proper maintenance and property accountability of numerous pieces of bridging equipment valued at over $24M were maintained.
