Established and managed network security, including voice, DNS, mail, intrusion detection, file-level security, audits, firewall rules, policies, 24x7 system monitoring and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Accomplishments:

* Effectively delivered $20MM network with accompanied $300MM fiber project. Built Information Assurance Laboratory Network to simulate a real-world heterogeneous -target- network, consisting of Windows, UNIX and NT platforms/operating systems.

* Led a seamless migration of the entire Alaska Pipeline telecommunications system from Novell to a Windows NT client/server environment, including organizational plans that transformed the IT organization.

Development of Disaster Recovery Plan.

Implemented ATM/SONET Network. Established security, O&M, SOP, DRPs, IRPs, CPs, IS Audits, and policies.

Created SLAs between AT&T, CTG and SAIC matrixes with incentives and penalties.

Managed system to 99.99% availability, reducing response time from several minutes to a sub-second and slashing operating costs.
