buildings, over 2 million square feet of office space, and 6,000 employees. Property
include: multistory office buildings, central plant building, parking structure, day-care

Developed and prepared annual operating budget totaling $9M in expenses and $2M in
capital projects.
Managed a 12 person staff consisting of six union pipe-fitters, a union electrician, a union
carpenter, a union painter, two maintenance technicians, and an administrative assistant.
Managed outsourced contract services including janitorial, snow removal, landscaping,
trash & recycling, elevator maintenance, etc.
Managed capital improvement projects including building construction remodeling, chiller
and cooling tower retrofit, building management system upgrades, fire sprinkler & life
safety installation, security system, generator & battery back-up equipment, lighting
upgrades, elevator upgrades, parking lot work, office planning and employee relocation,
etc.
Member of a four-person team assisting A/E firms in designing a $50M building addition
and various construction projects totaling over $100M
Wrote monthly Bengineer column for corporate communication newsletter covering
topics such as recycling, energy savings, curtailment, life safety, fire drills and evacuation
