Will this be known as the "Era of the Computer?" Or maybe the "Internet Revolution?" I believe that when history is written this will be called the "Communications Revolution!" True, computers are a part of this, but only part. True, the Internet drives some of the revolution, but it started before the Web was imagined.

Instead of looking at just the technology today's College or University needs to adopt a bigger picture, a wider view. Computers are becoming smaller, and may within a few years "disappear" inside other devices. Televisions will evolve into "Information Stations", and cellular telephones will do so much more than just receive calls.

Each Educational Community has it's specialists, in Computing, in Video, in Networking. But, do you have someone to start pulling all these areas together?

I have the background, versatility, and interest to assist your campus with understanding the choices that the Communication Revolution offers. Over 20 years in Higher Education Media, doing it all. No, I am not a "specialist". I am proud to be a Generalist in an era when the convergence of technologies will require generalists who can coordinate and control. If your institution is looking ahead, if you need direction to take you to the future, I may be just what you are looking for.
