Consisting of underground MEP, overhead MEP/FP, HVAC, site utilities, jobsite mobilization, setup, and security, site pre-construction set-up, scheduling, scopes of work, review bid packages, pre-construction meetings with potential contractors, execution of contracts, verify insurance requirements of vendors, hold contractor meetings weekly, participate in owner monthly control meetings, permit drawing delivery and payment to City of Tempe, pre-award meetings with owners and subcontractors. Oversee 20 sub-contractors, interpret drawings, specifications, submit RFI's, review monthly pay requests, hire vendors.

Gilbane Building Company, Superintendent: 7/1998 to 10/2001

Medical College of Virginia, - Richmond, VA

Lead Superintendent for 270,000 square-foot ten story addition to the Medical College of Virginia Hospital; footprint was wedged between three buildings under extremely tight conditions; with a total project cost of $135,000,000. Overall responsibilities included supervision of the outside skin fabrication; consisting of pre-cast panels, curtain walls, exterior studs, brick and front entrance landscaping and utilities tie-in. Managed daily job site schedules, ensure compliance with the relevant OSHA regulations, inspected multiple craft installations and consulted with contractors to alleviate any issues affecting project completion. Concluded project both ahead of schedule and under budget.

Merck & Co., Inc., General Superintendent: - Elkton, VA

Responsible for the site scheduling management, budget management, and contractor coordination & inspection for all services on Inoculation Laboratory remodel project. Oversight duties included the complete demolition of existing facilities and new installation of steel, HVAC, electrical, piping, plumbing, and casework in an operating clean-lab environment. Additional duties included supervising a simultaneous Utility Header Project installing 700 feet of 4-inch, high-pressure steam header and 1100 feet of stainless steel caustic header, including drops and tie-in's to 36 fermenttion modules. Participated in all pre-construction Bid Organizational Design development

sessions with Merck, Gilbane, and Merck`s contracted Engineering firm. Concluded project on schedule and under budget.

Simultaneously supervised all disciplines of superintendents and trade contractors on $25,000,000 Merck - Stonewall joint Pharmaceutical project. Duties included designing clean build protocols, writing scopes of work, budget management, scheduling activities, ensure compliance with the relevant OSHA regulations, coordinating various disciplines to obtain maximum job-site efficiency which included inspections, troubleshooting, drawing interpretation, and liaison intervention between Gilbane and Merck. Concluded project on schedule and within budget.

Amgen, Inc., Superintendent: - Longmont, CO

Supervised contractors in the construction of a $200,000,000 Biochemical facility. Duties included scheduling work activities between contractors, coordinating various disciplines to obtain maximum job-site efficiency which included specification inspections, troubleshooting, drawing interpretation, ensure compliance with the relevant OSHA regulations, and liaison intervention between Gilbane and Amgen. Concluded project on schedule and under budget.

Treadway Industries Inc., Plant Manager: 6/1996 to 7/1998 - Chandler, AZ

As a Plant Manager responsibilities included; management of three shifts and production of architectural units from expanded and extruded polystyrene used in theme parks, motion picture and television industry. Additional responsibilities included duties of Plant Safety Director.
