Major Responsibilities

Manage Environmental Section consisting of one engineer, one geologist, one technician, one secretary, summer students, and contractors.

Manage groundwater issues at petroleum refinery and outlying facilities, which include closed RCRA landfarm, and active remediation programs under consent agreements with appropriate state agencies.

Negotiate permit conditions and resolve proposed enforcement actions with environmental regulatory agencies on air (NSPS and Title V Operating), hazardous waste, CERCLA and water discharge topics.

Calculate air emission inventories, Benzene NESHAPS TAB, and EPCRA Form R emissions.
