VIROLOGY TECHNICIANPerform virology in vitro testing for advantageous viruses, retroviral infectivity assays and bovine in vitro advantageous virus assays in a GMP. Practice aseptic laboratory technique, GMP rules and regulations, GMP documentation and basic laboratory procedures. Work with several different mammalian cell lines, utilize several different viruses to infect cell cultures, microscopically observe cells for cytopathic effects and immunoflourescence, perform hemadsorption and hemagglutination assays.
