2007 2010: Security/Personal Computing Leader Owens Corning Toledo, OH

Led the combined IT Security and Personal Computing teams to manage our secure,

high-performance desktop environment and reduce cost. Developed strategy and

roadmaps for security and personal computing technologies, and kept our global

infrastructure secure. Also led our Network Services team while a new leader for that

team was being recruited. During this period I reduced our annual cost of Microsoft

software by 50%.

2000 2007: Information Security Leader Owens Corning Toledo, OH

Transformed Owens Corning security systems from a scattered collection of security

processes into a focused, tightly managed security practice. Implemented common,

global security while reducing cost and facilitating growth. Reduced hundreds of man-

hours battling virus and worm infections in 2000 to a handful of tightly-controlled

incidents. Reduced Internet abuse and provided fraud and forensic analysis while

accelerating acquisitions and divestitures.

1997 2000: Internet/Intranet Leader Owens Corning Toledo, OH

Led a team of highly technical resources to develop and maintain our Internet/intranet

infrastructure. Upgraded firewalls and implemented other global security facilities,

outsourcing a number of infrastructure security operations; improving security and

reducing cost.
