KEYWORDS

Consulting and Sales Business Development Simulation modeling

Ideation and Change Mgmt Lean/Six Sigma Excellent Presenter, writer

e-Marketing and Lead Gen. Tool Selection Account Management

I have twenty-two years` experience in selling technology to clients. In the early part of my career this was as a technology consultant selling engagements and solutions but more recently in software sales both in person and through the web. I can demo software to end-users as well as explain the benefits and ROI to the executive suite. Over the last few years I have sharpened my web tool usage in terms of CRM, pipeline, automated marketing, and lead generation tools to be able to be extremely effective and self-sufficient.

EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE

2008 - Present AnyLogic North America

I am the National Director of AnyLogic North America selling complex analytical simulation software as well as consulting services. I have P&L responsibility, and lead sales, marketing, and new product development. Since joining total revenue has increased 60% while operational costs have dropped 15%. I have focused on inbound marketing and leveraging the web to achieve this greater reach at lower cost. During this time I have developed a large contact base of simulation practitioners and organizations using simulation and simulation consulting services.

2000 - 2008 PA Consulting Co.

Shortly after leaving AT&T the small consulting firm I was working for was acquired by PA, a 60 year-old British management and technology-consulting firm of more than 3,000 professionals. Entering as Manager I rose to reach full Partner in 2007 working in both the Telecom and Simulation Modeling groups.

During this period my key customer was Sprint/Nextel where I initially penetrated the account and transformed it into one of PA`s anchor customers in North America delivering over 40 separate consulting engagements.

My focus was on large and complex program/system improvements and redesign especially in the product development and engineering areas. I developed the INFEL technique that advances BPR approaches by concentrating on the hidden yet fluid dimension of information flow in white-collar processes. These techniques are based on the Dependency Structured Matrix approach and serve to unite existing traditional process mapping with Lean thinking and can use either dynamic simulations or classic Value Stream Mapping for budget-effective quantification and analysis.

I was a recognized Account Leader and the author of PA`s Account Management 101 course which is required for all Assignment Managers and Partners. I was the US Proposition Leader for Lean and Cost Management. When elected to the partnership I was singled out by the CEO for both Thought Leadership contributions to the firm and the highest 360 review from my teams.

AT&T, 1997-2000

I was a Division Manager in Corporate Strategy and Consumer Partner Strategy. At AT&T Consumer Marketing I led the team that structured, negotiated, and managed the EnergyOne partnership - the first large-scale bundle of retail electric and telecom products. This was featured in the Wall St Journal on Page 1.

While in the Corporate Strategy group I developed disintermediation strategies with utilities and other customer-touching organizations as part of AT&T`s key effort to compete against the Baby Bells.

A.T. Kearney 1996-1997 (merged with EDS Consulting)

I was a principal consultant concentrating in utilities and supply chain work.

EDS Management Consulting Services 1993-1996

I was a Managing Consultant in the Utility practice and the Process Improvement Group. I was Project Manager on several key Reengineering projects and asked to participate in developing EDS` overall BPR product.

EARLY PROFESSIONAL CAREER

After graduation I had a three-year engineering position with Stone & Webster where I worked on power plant design and accident simulation. This was followed by a six-year tenure with Theodore Barry and Associates, a small consulting firm with offices in New York and Los Angeles. I was awarded Consultant of the Year.

EDUCATION

B.S.M.E., Massachusetts Institute of Technology

National Merit Scholarship winner

Bechtel Foundation Scholarship winner.

Post Graduate Studies in Probability and Risk Assessment, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Lean Six Sigma certification, Villanova.

PERSONAL

Married with two children. Enjoy outdoor activities, chess, and writing. Was an NCAA All-American in college, four times New England Champion, and a 6-year member of the US National Fencing Team.
