OBJECTIVE

My goal is to provide a structural engineering company with sound structural engineering designs focusing on life safety code compliant structural designs in an efficient and productive manner that will enhance company success and reputation. In addition, my goal is to become registered structural engineer in the next 6 months and have the opportunity to build client relationships, generate and manage my own projects within the company, and create additional employment opportunities for other engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Project management to include marketing, initializing contracts, budgeting, servicing clients, and determining services rendered.

Structural engineering services to include gravity and lateral load design, determining methods of analysis and applicable building code requirements, reviewing geotechnical report requirements, building mathematical models, integrating analysis and design requirements into design drawings and details, organizing calculations, applying quality control procedures to calculations and construction documents, modifying structural elements as a result of coordinating with other disciplines. Other structural engineering services include address building official comments into calculations and construction documents, answering RFIs and ASIs, reviewing shop drawings, performing site visits and special inspections.

Utilize construction deficiencies to build new relations and generate additional project scope of work.

Working knowledge of the latest building code and design practices for steel, concrete, wood, and masonry structures, and general analysis (e.g. new structures, existing structures, secondary structures, non-building structures and computer verification).

Projects include, commercial, residential, schools, hospitals, hotels, airplane hangars, cranes, pre-engineered foundations, fire damage repair, port of entry crash fences, bridges, restaurants, museums, doctor offices, remodels, shopping centers, malls, car washes, dry cleaners, crane foundations, platforms, silos, ball parks, signs, light poles, retaining walls, ballrooms, water tanks, explosive storage buildings, jails, banks, club houses, dorms, and repair of old buildings.
