Participated in all aspects of day-to-day classroom operation, including classroom management, communication with
parents, development of co-teaching plans, attendance of continuing education meetings, attendance of IEP
meetings, lesson development, creation and administration of assessments, and differentiation of instruction. In
addition to performing all responsibilities of a seasoned educator, provided support for students and the school by
attending extracurricular activities, working in concessions stands, supervising weight training activities, and
chaperoning dances.

Participated in a specialized reading enrichment program for at-risk students who have demonstrated learning
disabilities or reading difficulties. Delivered personalized instruction, worked with one student to develop a
differentiated product, and created lessons and assessments aligned with school and state protocols.
Faribault Middle School (Faribault, MN) - Fall Semester, 2010 - Field Placement 1
Participated in lessons developed by cooperating teacher for sixth-grade Minnesota History students. Provided
one-on-one instruction when needed, delivered multiple lessons, and conducted research on available resources for
students and families, as well as instructors.
Lifeworks (Mankato, MN) - September to October, 2010 - Volunteer
Volunteered twice weekly to provide life enrichment opportunities for adults with special needs. Helped with games,
job training programs, delivery of Meals on Wheels in the city of Mankato, and other enrichment opportunities.

and Series 66 State Law Exam license. Left the company to attend graduate school in Fall 2010.

Worked within a small team of fellow employees to create business stationery and other printing products,
using numerous computer programs. Proficient in billing, typesetting and graphic arts programs.
