Guam - Teacher contract negotiations may soon resume now that the Guam
Education Board has elected chairman Dr. Jose Cruz and vice chair Peter Alexcis
Ada. At last week's meeting, GEB members expressed interest in returning to the
negotiating table.
According to a newsletter from the Guam Federation of Teachers,
the union would like an official response in writing ending the GEB's indefinite
caucus. The next GEB meet is set for February 20 at Harry S. Truman Elementary
School at 6pm.
