Proposed about $12M guaranteed performance opportunity, including well field development, LFG treatment and processing, compressed methane gas transportation via roadways, generators and interconnection to the plant services. Expected ROI: 14 years
C2: Public Housing Authority, Luzerne and Dauphin Counties, PA and City of Newport, RI - Facilities Improvement Performance Contract (~ $10M):
Prepared Investment Grade Audit (IGA) report for the 3 Federal Public Housing Authority developments (No. of units: 2,000; No. of Buildings: 190; Approx. SF: 1.6M), including building envelope improvements, flat roofing, shingle roofing, interior lighting, energy-efficient appliances; Geo-Thermal heating system. Performed ASHRAE Level III Audit. Calculated energy savings using spreadsheets. Expected ROI
C3: Shriners Hospital for Children, Galveston, TX (~ $3M) Combined Heat and Power (CHP): Conducted feasibility study to investigate the potential for Combined Heat and Power (CHP) at the Hospital site. Upon implementation, the CHP is expected to eliminate the need of steam and chilled water purchases. The System would produce all the heat required at the hospital, generate chilled water using both absorption and electric chillers, while reducing electricity purchases from the utility by almost 98%. The expected annual savings: $525K w/ROI
C4: City of Quincy, Quincy, FL. Energy Performance Contract (approx. $6M):
Municipality Owned Utility serving over 6000 residential and commercial customers. Provided solution development for the smart grid project, including grant application, Advance Metering Infrastructure (water, electric and gas meters); Automated Demand Response via Curtailment. Simple pay back of 15 years or less.
C5: Siemens Energy, Orlando, FL, Developed Sustainability Program for Siemens` Portfolio properties (over 1.7M SF). Investigated and implemented programs and processes that conserve resources of all types of fuels. Pursued low-cost, high-return energy efficient upgrades that conserve energy, while making suggestions for cost-effective renewable energy pneumatic to DDC, upgrade lighting systems, EMS controls and VFDs on AHUs and secondary Chilled water pumps. Estimated 24% utilities cost reduction w/ ROI:
C6: Dallas ISD, Dallas, TX: Project Manager for the new LEED Certified Middle School and for over $6 million and renovation/addition project at three Dallas Independent School District elementary schools. The facilities renovation work in the project included ADA compliance, building envelope, critical MEP systems, health and safety, restrooms, roofing, ceilings, technology, and cafeteria.
C7: Sandia National Lab, NM Upgraded Acid Waste Neutralization plant and reclaim water system for the Department of Energy`s Sandia National Lab in Albuquerque, NM. The reclaim water system was designed to supplement the use of city water (about 300 GPM) in the Acid exhaust scrubbers and cooling towers. This project realized in water conservation in compliance with Energy Policy Act.
