Experience

2010 2011 Information Systems (IS) Intern at Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA) Johnson City, TN

IS intern

As an IS intern, I created web forms and web designs for various teams within IS and Marketing Departments. This

allowed me to work with many different levels of people in the organization and develop a broader view of the IS

business operations. I wrote the forms in programming language C#. I interacted with the database administrator

to create the necessary tables to support the form application.

In addition to the forms, I completed projects like the Heartcoach tracking application (see at

http://www.msha.com/Uploads/flash/heartcoachtracker.swf) and the Johnston Memorial Hospital (JMH) calendar.

Both required utilizing my skills with Flash, Photoshop, and Illustrator. The Heartcoach tracking application

provides information (via clicking the pink button) of the Heartcoach s whereabouts for the current day in a fun,

animated manner. For the JMH calendar, my responsibilities included touching up photos and closely working with

the lead marketing designer to create the calendar within a one week deadline.

I worked in Family Medicine with the Program Analyst 2. We transitioned computers for three Residency
