Remember playing board games as a kid? This is the Patrick Newell version of the classic game Concentration (or Memory).

Turn over cards two at a time to reveal pairs of my web development skillset. Once you've found all the matches, view the leaderboard to see how you stack up against me and everyone else who has played.

About Patrick Newell Concentration

In an effort to demonstrate some web development skills, I put together this game. It relies heavily on Javascript and jQuery, uses AJAX, PHP and MySQL for the leaderboard, and it beautified by jQuery-UI and graphics from Inkscape and GIMP. There is no use of Java (all PHP) or Wordpress (it is written in a simple text-editor), but these represent the other facets of web development with which I am comfortable.

The game could certainly benefit from a solid round of QA (as you will see if you click too quickly), but for the most part it behaves as expected. I hope you enjoy it, and feel free to contact me with any questions about the game, or my career.
