Goals My current research investigates the impact of
emerging web technologies on applications for

geographic information retrieval. My PhD is
focusing on the benefits of a collaborative effort fax: +49-251-**-*****
for the creation and maintenance of geographic
information, and its integration into the
upcoming semantic web.
Education Since 01.2006: PhD at the University of M nster, investigating if a collaborative effort
for the creation and maintenance of metadata can improve the
usefulness of geographic information.
