- Power system studies including load flow, short circuit, contingency analysis, reliability assessment,

voltage/dynamic/transient stability analysis, protection coordination, and transmission expansion and load forecasting

Dynamic, transient, and steady-state modeling and analysis of power system components including onshore/offshore

wind farms, machine-based and electronically-coupled distributed energy resources

Proficient user of PSS/E, ETAP, CYME, PSCAD/EMTDC, MATLAB/SIMULINK, and AutoCAD

Develop power system analysis and operation software tools including load flow and short circuit analysis of power

systems with renewable energy resources, optimal energy management, generation and transmission expansion planning

Prepare technical specifications in compliance with Canadian and international standards (IEEE, IEC, BS, NEC, NFPA)

Familiarity with the IESO practices and policies

Actively Involved with several IEEE Task Forces for modeling and analysis of distributed energy resources

Strong technical writing and verbal communication and presentation skills

Proven leadership, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills
