Biography In the United States Air Force, I was an aircraft mechanic, where I fixed the avionic instrument systems on B-52 bombers and KC-135 tankers, an avionic computer system test equipment designer, and a radar computer modeler. I also held many leadership positions, including shift supervisor, section chief, branch chief, executive officer, and operations officer. After the Air Force, I spent several years as an adjunct instructor and student advisor for Finlandia University, teaching leadership and team skills. I am the president of a local cross-country ski club, and I am a Stephen Leader in my church s Stephen Ministry program. I also developed and staffed an after-school Spanish language course for Hancock elementary school students. Currently, I am the Director of Graduate Business Programs at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, MI. I enjoy creating new programs and processes, and it s my passion to promote the MBA at Michigan Technological University as one of the best. I enjoy bike riding, cross-country skiing, and camping. I have 2 cats, both tabbies from the shelter, and 2 boxer dogs.
