WINLAB (Wireless Information Network Laboratory), Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ
Project: WIMAX based Vehicular Network Demonstration at 9th GENI conference Team Leader 02/2010-present
Design and implement a vehicular system on ORBIT Testbed through WiMAX connection, which continually
collects data and shows the real time data visualization results.
Client side: Design, implement, and test the data collection and WiMAX connection mechanism in onboard client
nodes
Server side: Design and develop the backend real-time data processing subsystem
WINLAB (Wireless Information Network Laboratory), Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ
Project: ParkNet, Real Time Vehicular Parking Information Network Vice Team Leader 04/2009-06/2010
Design, implement and evaluate ParkNet, a low cost novel vehicular system with onboard sensors that detect and
track parking spaces occupancy information while driving by.
Analyze the feasibility and cost of this novel parking information detecting system
Design and develop the entire system including both hardware implementation and software programming
Initiate the design of parking availability detecting algorithm
Test, analyze and evaluate the system performance
