Qualifications: Im experienced in product planning, functional designing, prototyping, system integration, coding and unit testing on various platforms and software languages. I coauthored three US Patents. I can work independently, as member of a team or assume a leadership role. Being progressive and inquisitive, I will work outside the box. I have broad experience from IBM mainframe IT support, creating web sites and formal documentation needed by the government. Being relentless has honed my problem solving skills and innovative designs and plans. I thrive on one of a kind task. Im experienced with file transfer mechanisms (sftp, http, ssl, etc), MS Office, Visio. I have solid z/OS internals and strong S/390 assembly language coding skills and experience with C/C++, Java, PL/1, and REXX.

PROPOSED POSITION: CSC, Technical Subject Matter Specialist (November 1, 2005 to May 18, 2012)

As a Contractor to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), (March 2012 May 2012), I worked on Incident Management at Service Operations Command Center Branch (SOCCB) part of the Enterprise Computing Center.

As a Contractor to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), (June 2010 May 2011), I worked on the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS)/Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Mainframe Migration project. I worked with a team moving a DHS mainframe workload to a new operating system at a new location. I was responsible for the installation and configuration of products used by DHS in the new operating system; i.e., CA-Teleview.

As a Contractor to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), (June 1997 November 2011), I worked for various contract holders; CSC Corp (11/2005 5/2012), IBM Global (11/2002 - 4/2005), and Lockheed Martin (6/1997 - 11/2002). I was unemployed (4/2005 - 11/2005).

I was responsible for the daily support of the EPAs SNA network. I shared responsibly for the installation and configuration of products used by the EPA. I worked on various special tasks as directed by the EPA. I ran a one man Secure Remote Print project. I worked on planning the migration away from SNA network connections and the elimination of out of date SNA hardware. I wrote necessary government documents for the EPA; Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA) and Memorandum Of Understandings (MOU). I took on the responsibility to rewrite and supported the Disaster Recovery manual in MS Word, created the Linux Standard Configuration Document and Enterprise Linux Server Security Plan. I have extensive Microsoft Suite experience as well as Mainframe products experience: TSO, MVS JCL, CA tools, FTP, SFTP, VSAM.

As a Senior System Programmer at MCI, (12/1996 - 2/1997), I worked on a project that was canceled after 3 month. I was unemployed (2/1997 - 6/1997).

I ended my career with IBM as an Advisory Programmer, (6/1968 - 5/1996). I was unemployed (5/1996 12/1996).I designed and implemented the I/O portion of a new multi protocol DLC prototype for large hosts to support the high volumes of data expected from ATM and TCP/IP networks. I was the lead designer and responsible for the Registration Manager Design document. I coauthored three US Patents on an architecture used in the Registration Manager. I had previously worked in mainframe departments. As a mainframe programmer, I worked in MVS testing department, VTAM performance and design departments.
