Work Experience

Zeta Interactive (January 2010 – Present)

Information Architect. Created sitemaps, wireframes and clickable prototypes for clients in a variety of industries. Working closely with the design team, I combined usability best practices and statistically-based site analysis to craft an effective site structure, leading to improved customer retention and conversion rates.

Euro RSCG Life Catapult (June 2009 – September 2009)

Project Manager. Managed multiple simultaneous projects worth over $300,000 for this fast-paced, worldwide digital advertising agency focused on the pharmaceutical industry. Coordinated activities between different divisions of the company and served as point person for communications and hand-offs with third-party development organizations. Shepherded projects through multiple levels of medical, legal and regulatory review. Also created project specifications and performed quality control on various deliverables, including site maps, wireframes, clickable prototypes, website copy, graphics, video and interactive Flash animation.

Premier Incorporated, Healthcare Informatics Division (March 2005 – November 2008)

Business Analyst. Created specifications for healthcare-related rich Internet applications used at over 900 hospitals nationwide for reporting and data analysis, and generating over $64 million in revenue. My work focused on user interface design and reporting functionality. Deliverables included wireframes, workflow diagrams, lo-fi prototypes, requirements, use cases, process diagrams and data specifications. Contributed to the group charged with developing and implementing web design standards across the organization. Fostered the implementation & adoption of the Confluence wiki-based document management system to improve internal efficiencies for the project management, business analysis and development teams.

Technical Writer. Created complete product documentation in printed and web-based formats for flagship Internet application. This included adapting existing training material, authoring substantial new content, designing master style sheet used for all customer-facing documents, and some scripting to integrate help content with the existing product. Also produced workflow diagrams and other informational graphics that were included in the documentation for several distinct products.

Infragisitics / Sheridan Software Systems (1995-2005)

Technical Content Creator. At this publisher of software tools and components, I produced complete, original help systems and printed documentation for products used by the development teams at many Fortune 2000 companies, including Verizon and JP Morgan Chase. Also designed and implemented complete help system life-cycle for award-winning COM and .NET products, including gathering information from subject matter experts; designing, organizing and authoring product tutorials and feature references; producing on-line and printed materials and maintaining and expanding documentation throughout subsequent updates.

Assisted in the creation of on-line and instructor-led training materials, creation and maintenance of the corporate website (HTML/ASP), programmed in Visual Basic and Visual Basic.NET, and executed a variety of writing and graphics production tasks in support of Marketing.

Chemical Bank [Check Processing Services] (1992-1995)

(Chemical Bank is Now J.P. Morgan Chase Bank.)

Technical Analyst. Provided a variety of computer-related services, focusing primarily on the installation & troubleshooting of PC-based systems and LAN administration. Programmed in Visual Basic and produced an award-winning internal newsletter.

Clockwork Computing (1992-present)

Computer Consultant. Launched Clockwork Computing to provide computer and network consulting and website creation services to small businesses in Long Island, Manhattan and New Jersey. Created client websites from scratch, including concept, implementation and support. Also provided system maintenance and training.

Concepts By Clinton Productions, Inc. (1990-1991)

Production Manager for this video production company/ad agency serving the Long Island Gold Coast market. Experience with traditional video production & editing, desktop publishing & graphics, creative work for television & print. Initiated in-house desktop production of printed ad material.
