Qualifications:

I have always taught whatever I excelled in. While still in High School, my music teacher had to be

admitted to the hospital for severe ulcer problems. I was asked to teach all of the classes in his

absence. I received extra credit and had to do a lot of homework in other areas of study but it was

worth the effort. I received the prestigious John Philip Souza band award at graduation. I believe this

experience was instrumental in developing my passion for te aching.

Have five years experience as a Senior SIMS trainer with the 1 st Bde, 91st Div. Have been on

several down-range missions as well as many support missions at Camp Parks. Have performed as

senior Instructor for several BBS and CBS courses offered at Camp Parks. While at the BPG, created

the first workable mission tracking system still in effect today. Was the senior instructor and OIC of

instructor cadre for the 91st Division s first CSS/TSS mission.

Began teaching Martial Arts in 1974 in Placerville, CA and have been teaching steadily ever since.

Have taught in the private sector, in the Army, and in the school system. Was instrumental in

developing the first Martial Arts program taught at Cosumnes River College in Placerville, CA. One

of my Black Belt students is the primary instructor, with three others working as instructors in the

class.
