I m submitting this letter to express the desire to be considered for any welder, manufacturing or skilled labor position now available with your company. I m a self- starter who can perform jobs correctly the first time with minimal direction. I believe I will be a great asset to your staff.

I am a journeyman Engineering Model Maker and also have two associate degrees; both are mechanically oriented. My experience includes nine years of fabrication and/or prototyping in shops where I gained experience with milling, welding, CNC press brake, Rubber mold injection, thermoforming and general blueprint reading.

I have worked with different metals and have a general knowledge of hand and measuring tools. My excellent problem solving abilities make it possible to identify problems and determine solutions effectively and efficiently. I have great comprehension which provides me with the ability to read instructions and understand blueprints and diagrams.

My strong mechanical skills and the ability to operate the drill press, grinder, shears and mills will surely be a benefit to your company.
