The project is for one of the world’s largest food company, Nestl . Nestl with headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland was founded in 1866 by Henri Nestl and is today the world’s biggest food and beverage company. It employs around 247,000 people and has factories or operations in almost every country in the world. Today Nestl is present in different markets with the main brands like coffee, water, other beverages, shelf stable, chilled, ice creams, chocolate, confectionery and biscuits, frozen foods and health care Nutrition’s.

The project involves improving the performance and operational efficiency of the Nestl businesses worldwide.

The GLOBE Support Structure is responsible for On-going support following implementation.

Nextel Communications, a FORTUNE 200 company based in Reston, VA., is a leading provider of fully integrated wireless communications services and has built the largest guaranteed all -digital wireless network in the country covering thousands of communities across the United States. Today, 95 percent of FORTUNE 500 companies are Nextel customers.

This project involves SAP-R/3 versions 4.7. As a part of this project he was working on ABAP Developments and support of existing ABAP objects and Interfaces.

Contribution:

As a Module leader for the offshore team from India, my responsibilities involve in monitoring the development/enhancement/problem tickets assigned offshore and assign them among offshore resources, reporting the status of the tickets assigned offshore and issues involved to the GlobalCynex,Inc USA manager.Defining Solutions and Preparation of Technical Specifications.Design, develop & maintain Reports, SAP scripts, Enhancements and Modifications, BDC’s and Dialog Programs.Tuning of the ABAP programs which are taking long times by using Runtime analysis and SQL trace.Documentation – Program documentation, Technical specifications, Test results, Runtime analysis.
