President Professional Engineering Consulting Services for Telecommunication Systems and Infrastructure projects primarily located in the Midwestern US.

The primary objective of these projects was to improve the client s business process by the effective application of telecommunications technologies. My responsibility included: the planning phase of each project which consisted of learning the client s business, understanding the organizational goals, and then showing senior management how the application of telecommunications technologies would improve their ability to meet the organization s goals. Other duties include: sales, contract management, owner s representative during construction, acceptance testing, and client relations.

MIS Labs operated a testing and research laboratory which provided component characterization for telecommunication equipment and materials then submitted data used in developing the TIA TR41 and the IEEE-802 family of standards.

We also provided expert witness services for telecommunications and AC power matters.

Projects of Interest include: American Family, Land s End, MATC - University of Iowa, Folely and Lardner, A. O. Smith, Monroe Hospital, City of Madison, Milwaukee Public Schools, Monona Terrace, Total TV, AT&T, Volk Field Communications Center, and M&I Bank Alternate Data Center, University of Hawaii, University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and Allen Bradley.

Local Distribution Engineer

The INTS project provided a backbone telecommunication network that spanned all population centers, military establishments, ports, pumping stations and the one ski hill. The system used microwave for the backbone connectivity and transitioned to local distribution at the end points to connect with the local telecommunications system(s).

As the Local Distribution Engineer, I traveled to the sites, identified the interface requirements, engineered the physical infrastructure from the terminal repeater building (end of the microwave located at the edge of town) to the communications building. Prepared the construction documents and reviewed them with the charge d affier, and trained the Iranian Nationals that would be operating and maintaining the system.

The AC electrical power line for the terminal repeater was also my responsibility.
