SECURITY/INVESTIGATION EXPERIENCE

As a Surveillance Dual Rate Shift Manager at MotorCity Casino and Hotel for the past several years, my in-depth experience includes:

Loss Prevention:

* Recognition received from Managers and Prosecutors for my success in helping to solve cases involving fraudulent activities.

* Operating and deriving maximum benefit and cost-effectiveness from a complex and state-of-the-art $4 million Instek Digital technological surveillance system designed for IP and analogue camera integration. The MatriVideo surveillance platform uses up to 16,000 cameras with DVR, NVR, or Archive Server topology. These solutions provide access to real time video analytics (RVA), integrated alarms, instant video playback, remote operations, and advanced geographic information (GIS), providing tools that I use daily in loss prevention and security efforts.

* Investigating fraudulent activities including check and credit card fraud, collusion, and theft of personal belongings.

* Catching and preventing cheating, either by use of card counting or multiple other options, at table games and slot machines.

* Investigating casino loans to patrons/marker issues.

Coordination:

* Working cooperatively with Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) and Michigan State Police.

* Reporting to the Vice President of Surveillance Operations on a daily basis with summary reports and scheduling, as well as to review outstanding daily projects.

* Coordinating with the Human Resources Department on security staff payroll and scheduling.

Management/Operations:

* Running day-to-day operations for department of six to eight employees.

* Handling large volumes of theft reports, medical reports, and progressive jackpot reports.

* Leading risk management efforts by dealing with safety issues that could impact associates and patrons.

* Observing and monitoring casino associates.

* Ensuring that security staff members create thorough and accurate incident reports after investigations have been completed.
