My duties were Care, Custody,and Control of Inmates in State Correctional Institution. I was a Corrections Officer 1,

For twenty three years I worked the housing units, I monitor the movements and conduct of Inmates on

the housing units. Conducted Institutional counts,to ensure that all inmates that house on the housing units

was present. Inspected all doors,windows, bars,locks,gates,and grills at the Correctional Institution. To

ensure security, and safety, and to help prevent escapes.Join the Internal Security Department, Where

I worked as a search team member, We conducted searches of the housing units and shakedowns

of Institutions grounds, Cells were Inmates house, for contraband,weapons and drugs.Monitor phones,video

surveillance, use of cameras, urinalyses testing,assisted the supervisors in investigating disturbance in the Institution.

Trained and qualify yearly with all weapons,Handgun,Rifle,and Shotgun. Also trained in CPR,First

Aid,AED, Riot control,Chemical munition Baton training,and the State of Pennsylvania Use of Force Policies.

I worked in the Institutions Property room, Where I was trained in inventory of Inmates property,sending

Inmates to other State Correctional Institution,and receiving Inmates, and their property for housing at

the Institution.I been trained in use of the Institutions computers and polices when transferring Inmates

from Institution to Institution.
