As part of the Group's Banking Applications, Credit Application Relationship Management (CARM) for Corporates is an Application used for loan products. CARM assesses the credit risk.
Responsibilities: Programming in RPG ILE, CL, SQL and DB2 database. Analyzing the business requirement document and preparing the estimates, functional and technical specifications. Developing new screens and programs for interactive transactions. Responsible for changing the programs to implement new/modified banking business rules. HBFR is a part of CARM (Credit Approval and Relationship Management System); HBFR is introduced into HSBC group to establish connectivity between HSBC France and HUB (HSBC Universal Banking). HBFR project involved merging of Non HSBC Banks in France into France HSBC Bank. Apart from global CARM changes, project included customizations based on the regional business needs.
Responsibilities: Programming in RPG ILE, RPG Free, CL, COBOL, SQL and DB2 database. The project involved developing the interfaces between CARM and HSBC Universal Banking (HUB) System using DDM file concept. Enhancing the existing HBFR-CARM applications as per the client requests. Coding, testing and delivery of all relevant applications involved in the project. Implementation of major core service packs and version upgrades of CARM.
