2002: (1) Technical support for non-profit Theatre company in Houston, TX, including repair, reconfiguration and upgrade of entire network covering five locations. Reconditioned, repaired, reconfigured and/or replaced all computer and computer-related equipment on company-wide basis. (2) On-call consultant for Houston-area Private Investigator (Kay Sanders, PI). (3) Technical support for APS, Inc. of Houston. (4) Other computer-related consulting for companies and private citizens in Houston area. (5) Spent two weeks in studying the language, culture, customs, history and geography.
2001: (1) Successfully installed computer lab in Milot, and trained indigenous Haitian population on wordprocessing, accounting/spreadsheet and computer maintenance. Purchased, configured, organized and shipped 18 computers, 8 printers and peripheral equipment to the country. Traveled to Milot, and installed equipment, set up network, and trained local educational administrators and teachers on use of equipment and software. (2) Successfully transported and installed computer system for small clinic in Mexican interior. Trained local personnel on use of equipment. (3) Consulted with nationally recognized Laser dentist (Dr. David Winn) in Colorado Springs, CO on his office computer system. Provided several cost-saving recommendations and successfully made adjustments, upgrades and repairs to various components. Also assisted several of his employees with their personal computer needs.
