PROJECTS PRODuCTION Designed and produced a high quality, full colour trade publication, cover to cover.

Worked closely with the client s communications committee; sub-contracted writers,

designers and photographers as needed; maintained hands-on production using

InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; worked directly with advertisers to design ads and

meet critical deadlines; prepared files for printing and ensured final delivery.

Sam Sullivan Disability Foundation (2003 - present)

WEB DESIGN AND

DEVELOPMENT With a network of six not-for-profit websites, duties included site architecture,

mock-ups and user interface designs, maintaining each site with Dreamweaver

and Contribute, and integrating a fully searchable PHP/MySql database.

Maxilite Lighting Fixtures (2006 - present)

Designed and built online catalogue centered around a MIVA database that

allows users to search, display, print and email from a selection of 300 products.

Also designed and produced a matching 72-page, high gloss printed catalogue.

Variety the Chldren s Charity Lottery (2003 - present)

Created several different, highly interactive, animated and engaging websites

using HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and an extensive use of Flash.

Oceanid Water Rescue Craft (1998 - present)

Designed and maintained company website. Wrote, edited and produced several

high-energy video segments with a Flash interface to select, view and play online.

BC Paraplegic Association (1993 - present)

PRINT DESIGN, LAYOuT

AND PRODuCTION Designed, edited and produced quarterly magazine, along with selected writing and

photography assignments; completed ad design and all pre-press requirements.

Prime Signal Wireless Broadband (2008)

Created a new corporate image for the client. This included a redesign of their

logo, new business cards, stationary and an 8-page marketing brochure.

SITIE Impianti Industriali S.p.A. (2008)

Conceptualized, designed, edited and produced a corporate brochure launching

the company s branch office in Edmonton, Alberta.

Delta Chamber of Commerce (2002 - 2005)

Designed and produced annual membership directory, oversaw all aspects of

production including all ad sales and ad design, photography and copy writing.

Redesigned logo and website, established new graphic standards.

Excellent knowledge of pre-press requirements and demonstrated experience

suppliers and printers, from arranging estimates to managing all aspects of

production to ensuring on time, on budget product delivery.

Ability to work to tight deadlines, set priorities and juggle several projects on a

regular basis. Experience organizing meetings, working with committees and

delegating responsibilities. Devoted team player but equally at ease taking the

initiative and working independently. Strong problem-solving and negotiating

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications with emphasis on

SOFTWARE

Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Flash and Bridge.

publishing, my application of choice is Apple s Final Cut Pro.
