Contract Flex Developer / UI Designer.

Project: Claims Handling Re-design. Built large scale Flex applications to handle check

printing and outbound correspondence generation, to be used by all Farmers Agents across

the US. Initially built with Cairngorm 2, now moving to Flex 4, Flash Builder and the

Spicefactory (Parsley) framework. Worked closely with senior managment end users to

develop the UI look and feel, user experience, CSS and skins. Java backend, with Blaze DS.

Use of Adobe Air for Check Printing applications.

ProLogic, Inc: October 2008 March 2009

Part-Time Consulting Flex Developer

Project: Web to Print Flex Application. Providing project management, ActionScript 3.0 code

review and recommendations to a small team of developers who are building a complex

web-to-print application. Also trained staff in-house, for 5 days, on Adobe Flex and Flex

Builder IDE.

Universal Mind, Inc.: June 2008 - October 2008.

Contract Flex Developer

Project: Microsoft Office 2007 training application. Custom components in ActionScript and

MXML. CSS styling and creation of graphic assets for buttons, tabs, steppers, check boxes,

etc. Drop-down menus, dialogs, panes, ribbons, office components all exactly replicated.

Dispatching of custom events using Cairngorm. Worked with a team of 15 other developers.

Used SVN, JIRA, and TRAC.

Patelligence, Inc.: October 2007 June 2008

Contract Flex Developer

Authoring of project requirement documentation, application interface design mock-ups

using Adobe Fireworks. Initial code stubbing of interface view, such as custom components,

viewstacks, component states and building png skin assets and css to match mock designs.

Created value objects and singleton model locator. Custom events and related commands

tied with Front Controller. Built customer components. Validation of user input. Consumed

.NET web services, server-side generated XML, coded client-side business logic.
