IT Software Delivery - Deployment Analyst

Execute change requests for server software, database updates, and workstation hardware & software. Evaluate risk assessment and impacts of change requests. Deploy business software to workstations and users at 80 sites worldwide using SCCM 2007 and Active Directory security groups. Create, modify, and delete task sequences. Schedule the deployment of applications and change requests per our current process. Validate all changes and testers for both Windows XP and Windows 7 environments. IT Change Management Analyst

Responsible for ensuring that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all technical changes (hardware and software) as they migrate to the production environment. Evaluate and analyze changes based on risk and potential impact to Production. Ensure that the appropriate IT and Client approvals have been provided prior to the change execution. Receive and maintain documentation in Documentum and Sharepoint libraries. Gather populations and evidence of controls for internal/external auditors, Execute tasks required for the migration of software changes to the staging and production environment for workstation and packaged software. Coordinate with other teams for the execution of deployment activities including security, network, database, and application support teams. Reconcile software asset inventory against change log. Train new employees. Test change management workflow and processes in Remedy for new enhancements or upgrades.

June 2000 to May 2009 - SABIC Americas, Inc., IS Business Analyst (System Support) and Business System Analyst (Audit & Compliance)

I/S support role which entails being a liaison between the business and technology. The first year involved reviewing and documenting departmental business processes, in preparation for ERP implementation. The first year also involved learning and supporting the legacy systems which were in place for both Accounting and Customer

Service. Assigned Data Team Lead for the SAP implementation (4.6c). The team lead role include data mapping, data cleansing of legacy systems, and downloads in preparation for uploads to SAP test and production clients. Communication occurred weekly, sometimes daily, with management and SAP Team members located at Headquarters in Riyadh, via conference calls. Coordinated all the outside SAP training for team leads and power users. The primary responsibility of this position was to provide a controlled production environment and manage change in a manner that will ensure a consistent and reliable production environment. This position involved working closely with the Application Development Leads and Managers, along with each of the Support Groups involved, to migrate changes, both software and hardware, through various environments for testing, and eventually to Production. Many of the changes were software rollout projects. The position involved managing/coordinating multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring all support groups have completed their tasks, per a detailed migration plan. The projects and changes involved hardware, network, Infrastructure, and software. It also involved managing and maintaining all necessary documentation that was required for such projects and changes. Other responsibilities involved are: Attending Project Initiation and pre-implementation meetings, migrating applications to the Staging and Production environments, coordinating the Staging and Production tasks with the other Support Groups, migrating applications to the environments, deploying Staging and Production installation packages to the customer workstations, documenting customer acceptance, publishing Installation documentation

The primary responsibilities of this position were to provide quality workstation support, consultation, service and training to Lyondell`s internal customers. These customers were located at Lyondell`s plant sites and corporate headquarters, along with Sales Representatives that are located throughout the United States. The responsibilities of this position involved items such as, providing business needs analysis for the customers as it relates to automation, consulting with customers on the purchase of software and hardware, coordinating software/hardware installations and repairs, providing software problem diagnosis, providing solutions using standard software to meet specific business requirements, managing projects for software upgrade implementations (i.e. Project Upgrades consisted of Windows 3.1 to Windows NT 3.51, then NT3.51 to NT 4.0, and Office 95 upgrade), and providing one-on-one and classroom style training. Other functions completed in this position previously were the evaluation, installation, purchase, and receipt of all hardware and software, and general network support.
