Senior Consulting Engineer and Engineering Manager:

Worked on and supervised all aspects of electrical and mechanical designs of small power and padmounted transformers. Answered technical questions from marketing, manufacturing, field service and warranty teams.

Conducted the customer visits related to field failures and technical issues. Did technical presentations to the customers and others.

I was responsible for the amorphous metal core transformers design, manufacturing and providing marketing literature. Introduced a transformer for use in wind and solar farms. Developed a padmouned mini substation unit using vacuum fault interrupter and other substation accessories used.

Did several cost reduction projects to minimize the effects of rapid cost escalation.

I was in charge of engineering team designing and developing pad mounted, network transformers and voltage. My team successfully redesigned the network transformer product line.

I helped in the transition of the padmounted line to Mexico when the production was moved there. I helped in training of the designers and manufacturing engineers. Helped with licencing of the GE transformer technology to other countries and visited them for training and problem resolution in the introduction stage. Also trained the foreign engineers when they came to USA.
