Wrote a report as the company's Finance Officer to the the CEO of the company, making a recommendation on when to harvest timber, using the 20, 25, 30, 35-year scenarios.
Presented a detailed analysis on the company's costs and revenues, and the net present value describing each scenario, and analyzing the one that was the most profitable to the company.
Estimation of Weighted Average Cost of Capital of PepsiCo, Texas A&M,December'12
Using the data of PepsiCo, calculated the unlevered beta, percent food, percent beverage and the average of food and beverages over three years.
Calculations on weighted unlevered beta and levered beta was also performed. Cost of equity was calculated using the target debt-equity ratio, market risk premium and the risk-free rate.
WACC of PepsiCo was then calculated as the final step using the pre-tax cost of debt, cost of equity, tax rate and the target debt-equity ratio.
Accounting Case Project, Texas A&M, October'11
Analyzed two to three cases of different companies and made the Balance Sheet and Income Statement for each of those companies. Compared their Balance Sheet, and Income Statement with each other, and also calculated the financial ratios.

Experienced the responsibility of being the collaborator in the team, with combining the members ideas and efforts into one main idea. Team planned the Brazos Animal Shelter's Easter Fun Day called Pawsatively Spring.
Team worked with the Brazos Animal Shelter, located in Bryan, Texas .Team chose the agency because of a joint dedication to helping the animals in the area, and the community as a whole.
Team attended planning meetings at the shelter to select the focus of the team, activities and plan what was needed.
Had the experience of learning the keys to a successful team was respect, integrity, forthrightness, responsibility and doing work!
Learnt the domains of leadership strength of executing, relationship building, influencing and strategic thinking.
Team covered the costs with two profit shares: Red Mango raised $16 and Chick-fil-a.
Forming the proposal and presenting to the instructor, the community and the peers was the final goal, and the team went through a series of steps to make that successful, which included the marketing stage, fundraising, and the execution stage.
Pawsatively Spring was successful in making $195 in donations from the activities, raised an extra $250 from an outside donor, helped 5 donations take place, over 200 guests attended, 100 likes on the Facebook page, provided fun and entertaining activities for children, pet owners, and their pets!
The actual project value ended up being approximately $1820.
Restaurant Sale Evaluation Texas A&M,September'09
Developed computer skills in MS Access, HTML, MS Excel
Calculated restaurant's sales revenue, cost of sales, gross margin, net profit, profit margin, gross profit, in MS Excel.
Used the calculations to create graphs of Gross Profit, Gross Margin to depict monthly profits and to help the restaurants in deciding how to improve profits either by changing the tax rate or the overhead percentage.
